Tea Tree

Tea tree mulch is a fibrous dark mulch and by-product of the tea tree industry. The mulch raw material is the waste fibre left over after the oil has been extracted. Tea tree holds moisture longer than other mulches and lasts longest in the garden before breaking down. Weeds should be removed from the area prior to mulching and aerate compacted soil with a garden fork. Tea tree mulch also provides organic matter to the soil encouraging earthworm activity, thereby improving soil condition.
